Representative Karlo Alexei Nograles  of the National Unity Party (NUP) has proposed the establishment of a Local Bikeways Office (LBO) that will identify and provide bike lanes in major thoroughfares to encourage commuters to use this environment-friendly method of transport. 

Representative Magtanggol Gunigundo of the National Unity Party (NUP) wants individual income tax rates slashed from the current 32 percent to 15 percent to increase the purchasing power of taxpaying Filipinos and  help realize the government’s goal of “inclusive growth.” 

Representative Ma. Theresa Bonoan of the National Unity Party is pushing several amendments to the Tax Code to make it easier for heirs to pay the gross estate taxes on properties, which, in turn, would help Government increase revenue collections.

Partylist lawmakers Rodel Batocabe and Christopher Co of Ako Bicol have proposed a law transferring the jurisdiction of cases involving final judgments on housing and land use disputes from the Office of the President to the Court of Appeals.
